Chez Kane returns with her third album Reckless, and it’s easily her most confident, fully realised statement yet. Building on the melodic rock foundations of her earlier work, this record dials everything up - bigger choruses, sharper guitar lines, and a polished, arena-ready sheen that never feels overproduced.

From the opening moments, Reckless leans hard into glossy 80s excess, but with genuine heart. The hooks are immediate and infectious, the kind that feel tailor-made for live crowds, and you can already picture fists in the air when these tracks hit the stage. There’s a stronger emotional core here too, giving the album more depth without losing its high-energy punch.

Visually, the album nails its aesthetic as well - the cover channels serious Jamie Lee Curtis in Perfect vibes, all neon-lit confidence and retro fitness-era cool, perfectly matching the sound within.

If her first two albums hinted at potential, Reckless delivers on it in full. It’s bold, nostalgic, and irresistibly fun - arguably Chez Kane at her very best so far.

Rock Out Rating: 8/10.
