“Last Time Round” by Head Creep presents an intriguing mix of influences, notably drawing from the sounds of Velvet Revolver and Alice in Chains. The blend of grunge and hard rock elements is evident, but this familiarity, while comforting for fans of those genres, ultimately detracts from the originality of the track.

One of the standout elements is its catchy chorus. It has the potential of making the track memorable despite the overall lack of innovation in the song's structure. Unfortunately, the production leaves much to be desired. The initial drum fill is particularly jarring, setting a less-than-ideal tone for the track. The overall sound feels muddled, which takes away from the impact of the music.

While the song has its catchy moments, particularly in the chorus, it feels derivative and lacking in fresh ideas. The influences are too apparent, and the subpar production further hinders its potential.

Rock Out Rating: 3/10.
